This summer, the Urban Star Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria will reopen after an extensive renovation. The redesign will feature an all-new ambiance that blends modern sensibilities with traditional Southern culture.

The new interior will feature mood lighting, a contemporary layout, and décor with warm, sensual tones. The ambiance will blend elegance with Southern hospitality, offering a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Houston is a city known for its sophisticated yet down-to-earth culture, and the new Urban Star Restaurant will encapsulate that essence into a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

The menu will feature classic Southern cuisine made with modern culinary techniques. Authenticity and accountability are major priorities for Urban Star, and all meat and seafood will be responsibly sourced and come directly from Texas or the Gulf of Mexico.

Patrons can also expect a new bar menu with American craft cocktails and drafts from local Texas breweries. Brands that visitors will see on the menu include Karbach Brewery, Rebecca Creek Whiskey, and Waterloo Gin, among many others.

A date hasn’t been set yet for the restaurant’s re-opening. But stay tuned for the return of Urban Star Restaurant this summer.
