There’s nothing like a good countdown that can get you in a good mood and in the right frame of mind. My annual trip to Miami in March has me marking down the days after the New Year. And I’m always looking forward to my gym time after work with my music, friends and a few free weights. So, it makes sense that when it comes to the ultimate countdown, New Year’s Eve, it’s important to be at the right place at the right time. And year after year, The H-Town Countdown has been that place.

The H-Town Countdown is an annual New Year’s Eve event that’s produced by Select Entertainment & Events, and will be returning again to Silver Street Studios. This year’s event is being headlined by Canadian DJ/Producer A-Trak, with local support from 104.1 KRBE’s Tony Styles and DJ Bizonee. With this year’s line-up you can expect a smooth blend of dance beats ranging from progressive dance to hip-hop.

A-Trak has been on fire for a decade now with a long list of accomplishments that range from being an award-winning DJ and turntablist, to working with Kanye West on multiple projects, to launching his new radio show called Day Off Radio on Beats 1.

In addition to the music on New Year’s Eve, you can expect some nice perks in production and atmosphere with flying aerialists, confetti and the usual balloon drop. Ticket holders for the event will be treated to an open bar, a breakfast buffet and the traditional champagne toast at midnight.
