Global dance music transcends all boundaries. From the exotic beaches of Ibiza to the premier dance clubs of New York, globally infectious songs are capable of moving crowds all over. And there’s one underlying thread that unites DJs, dance floors and pulsating rhythms – Pitbull, the M.C. who delivers a melting pot of sizzling hooks, soothing vocals and memorable beats.

Pitbull (whose given name is Armando Christian Perez) is in a league all on his own. The Cuban-American music sensation is a rapper who creates music that certainly has mass appeal. With his experiences growing up in Miami, his sound is a combination of hip-hop and euro-dance with a constant touch of his Latin background.

Since his gold-certified debut album M.I.A.M.I. in 2004, Pitbull has consistently produced music that he can relate to and listeners can dance to. With his steadfast approach of combining different cultures and dance music together, Pitbull has a string of hits that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Pitbull has sold millions of digital singles including his double-platinum smash “I Know YouWant Me (Calle Ocho),” “Hotel Room Service,” “Krazy” and “Culo.”

Some of music’s biggest stars have collaborated with Pitbull, including Shakira and Janet Jackson. In just the past year alone, Pitbull has rode a wave of hits with Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It,” and the Jennifer Lopez current mega single “On The Floor.”

It doesn’t matter if it’s at the club or on the music charts, Pitbull is always in heavy rotation. Maybe it’s his rapid-fire rhymes or billion-dollar beats, either way he has a formula that works.

Mr. 305 will be returning to Houston for what’s sure to be another great show on July 23 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. As part of his “The Bad Man Tour,” Pitbull will be accompanied by Latin sensation Prince Royce. Tickets are still on sale at livenation.com.
