Bold, beautiful and undeniably talented, Normani has taken center stage over the past year as a rising pop star on the move.

Normani Opening for Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour

Since leaving her girl group Fifth Harmony, Normani has shown herself to be a formidable solo artist who can sing, dance and entertain. The world got a chance to witness her skills as a singer and dancer at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards when she performed her first No. 1 hit single “Love Lies” with Khalid. It was during this performance when Normani delivered a jaw-dropping dance move with masterful precision. The move sent social media into a frenzy, making fans and industry insiders alike take notice.

Later that year, Normani released two songs with Grammy Award-winning DJ and music artist Calvin Harris. First was the bouncy single “Checklist” featuring Wizkid, and then “Slow Down,” both mid-tempo beach grooves that allow Normani to show her range as a flirty lyricist and singer.

In 2019, the Atlanta native kicked off the year with another hot collaboration. Normani partnered with multi-platinum selling artist Sam Smith for the song “Dancing With a Stranger.” It’s an R&B-pop infused treasure that falls in line with the rest of the sultry hits that Normani has released since her solo expedition. “Dancing With a Stranger” offers a late-night vibe with Sam and Normani harmonizing about not wanting to be alone, yet being with someone new.  The song is currently No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and rising.

Currently, Normani is on tour as the opener for the first leg of Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour. The tour kicked off on March 18 in Albany, New York, and wraps up on June 18 in New York at Madison Square Garden. Normani has been putting her killer curves and dance moves on full display, while wearing a bedazzled catsuit that screams “the one.”

After a string of hit singles, it looks as if Normani is being groomed to become the next big superstar once her debut album drops later this year. Normani is ambitious, she has the chops and she can slay an 8-count. I’d say, she’s ready!
