Nicki Minaj Debuts at
No. 1 with 'Pink Friday 2'
Fresh off the heels of her performance at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in Atlanta, Nicki Minaj received the news that her latest album, Pink Friday 2, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Pink Friday 2 became Minaj’s third album to reach No. 1, making her the female rapper with the most No. 1 albums. The album sold 228,000 equivalent album units, making Minaj’s latest LP the best-selling rap album by a woman this year.
Minaj will soon be performing some of the singles from her latest album as well as some of her biggest hits on the upcoming Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The tour kicks off on March 1 in Oakland, California, with over 30 stops in cities that include Houston, New York, Paris, and Berlin. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
