We’ve all wanted to be in a movie at one time or another. Maybe you wanted to play alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator, or recreate the “I’m flying” scene from the Titanic with Rose and Jack on the deck. Either way, movies can make you think, dream and let your wildest imaginations run free. And for movie-loving connoisseurs, there’s a full sensory experience that’s making its way to Houston.

Planet Hollywood and Candytopia have partnered to bring Movietopia, a first-of-its-kind movie experience, to Houston this November 2019.  Movietopia will be an interactive, cinematic experience that will allow guests to place themselves into movie scenes and interact with certain objects from the films. Guests will be immersed in imagery to have a memorable Hollywood experience.

Because of the success of Candytopia, the interactive candy exhibit that debuted in Houston this summer, the creators decided that H-Town would be the perfect city to debut Movietopia.

“Given the success of Candytopia’s Houston residency, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to debut this one-of-a-kind experience and love for motion picture in the same space,” said Giovanni Yruela, President of Partnerships & Alliances of Earl Enterprises. “We are honored that the city of Houston has already shown so much enthusiasm and we can’t wait to open our doors. The experience will create new worlds using authentic movie memorabilia. Some of our favorites include pieces from Forrest Gump, Titanic, Ferris Bueller, Indiana Jones and Tim Burton films, along with a few other surprises.”
