Marc Jacobs Opens New
Location in The Galleria
Fashion staple Marc Jacobs recently opened a new location in The Galleria, one of 20 stores the brand plans to open over the next 18 months, according to the Business of Fashion.
The company has set a goal of hitting over $1 billion in yearly revenue within the next 3 to 5 years, and the expansion is a crucial part of that plan. The move comes amidst a critical restructuring of the business under the direction of CEO Eric Marechalle, who is working to develop a moderately priced line that will appeal to Houston’s youth.
Marc Jacobs first launched his now famous line in 1984 and has gone on to become a powerhouse in the fashion industry. Jacobs has had a long and successful career that includes serving as the creative director of Louis Vuitton and being on the TIME magazine list of the 100 Most Influential People in 2010.
Although he’s had many ups and downs throughout his career, he’s always been a respected name in fashion. He continues to create tasteful and authentic clothing that appeals to many groups and generations.
Now he is bringing his talents to The Galleria in Houston. Shoppers will find the store on level one near the Galleria Financial Center between Tag Hauer and Nespresso, so stop by now to check out the latest looks from this legendary brand.
