Since passing away on April 21, the legendary Prince has been remembered everywhere from magazine covers to tributes to postmortem album sales. In fact, the late singer just made history when five of his albums were in Billboard’s top 10 charts, the first full week after his passing.  Prince sold 4.4 million albums and songs the week after his death, which was a clear indication that music lovers missed the “Purple Rain” singer.

His peers have also offered remembrance and expressed their love for the multi-talented superstar with tributes by Beyoncé at her Formation World Tour, and by Madonna at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22. BET plans a huge tribute at the BET Awards on June 26, which will be interesting to see after the shade the network gave Madonna for her tribute performance. The BET Awards are always on point, so you can probably expect bold instruments, a lot of dancing and high-profile artists doing their best to honor Prince.

Gage Lounge at 2600 Travis is hosting a “Royal Tribute To Prince” event on Tuesday, June 7, with DJ Jam Blaster and DJ Aggravated. Guests can expect to hear Prince’s top hits, along with some underground/bootleg classics. There’s also a Prince and Vanity look-a-like-contest with special prizes for the winners.
