Saks Fifth Avenue Ushers in a New Era of Style
The wait is over! After months of construction, planning, teasers and updates, the new Saks Fifth Avenue in the Galleria’s luxury wing will open on Thursday, April 28.
The new location is only a diamond-crusted heel step away from the old location, which closed on April 20 as the department prepared for its transition. The new location will not only feature a new design concept, but the second largest beauty and fragrance department out of all of their 61 locations in the United States. Saks Fifth Avenue in the Galleria will also feature more designers to choose from, as well as 51Fifteen Restaurant & Lounge as a respite from shopping or quick place to grab a bite to eat with friends.
The store will open at 9:30 a.m. with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony that will be hosted by Marc Metrick, the president of Saks Fifth Avenue, along with other prominent guests.
