In Houston, there’s never a shortage of places to visit for a nice cocktail, a bite to eat and good company to keep you occupied in between. Last month, we introduced you to Henderson Heights, the new pub that’s continuing to entertain the Heights neighborhood during the sun-blazed days of summer. The pub is quickly becoming known as a go-to place for an assortment of quality drafts, bottles and brews by the can. From local favorites such as Karbach and Buffalo Bayou Brewing to tasty ales such as Dogfish Head, there’s a little something for everyone no matter if you’re inside with friends, at the bar or outside on the patio playing games.

pizzaIn addition to beer, Henderson Heights offers a specialty menu for those looking to up their cocktail game. Crowd-pleasing drinks include the Mexican Moscow Mule and the Breezy, which is made with Reyka Vodka, cucumbers, honey, lime juice, elderflower and soda.

Of course, what’s a pub without some shareables to go with all the specialty drinks. The food menu consists of items such as the Truffle Parmesan French Fries, Buffalo Burgers and thin-crust pizzas. Some of the standout pizzas include the Henderson, which is made with sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto bacon and mushrooms. Then there’s the Sawyer, made with prosciutto, dried cranberries, arugula and feta.

Henderson Heights has coasted through the summer as a local favorite worth visiting any day of the week. But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself and pay them a visit!
