As a singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and dancer, Justin Timberlake has become one of the greatest entertainers of his generation. The multi-hyphenate superstar has enthralled fans with his R&B-influenced music, charisma and ability to move to a heavy beat for the past two decades. With nine Grammy Awards, four Emmys and a pocket full of hits, Timberlake said yes to new music, and hello to 2016.

Last month, Timberlake released “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” a feel-good summer anthem from the soundtrack of the upcoming animated DreamWorks film, Trolls. Timberlake is the executive producer for the film and co-produced “Can’t Stop The Feeling” with hit-makers Max Martin and Shellback. The song has Timberlake returning to his pop roots with its up-tempo funk/disco sound and soul-inspired lyrics when he sings, “I got that sunshine in my pocket, got that good soul in my feet, feel that hot blood in my body, ooohhh.” Apparently radio and music lovers liked the song as much as I did, because it debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it Timberlake’s fifth No. 1 single in the country.

The music video for the song finds Timberlake with “the feeling” while eating a pie in a coffee shop, in a grocery store and outdoors with an usual set of inspiring backup dancers. The cool element of this video is that it takes people from their everyday lives, including a businessman, a waitress, and a mechanic, and has them dancing and having a good time while grooving to Timberlake’s latest hit.

Timberlake’s last albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2, saw the performer explore a more mid-tempo neo-soul sound. However, Timberlake is in the process of recording his fifth studio album, and by the looks of it, he’s ready to dance again.

Trolls will be released on Nov. 4 of this year.
