The 2019 R&B Summer Block Party concert series has returned for its fifth year with familiar names, big talents and a woman who can do it all.

The “block party” is visiting four major cities – Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago and Dallas. The artist lineup includes Anthony Hamilton, Jazmine Sullivan, Faith Evans, Boyz II Men and the heavenly Jill Scott.

The platinum-selling Scott has a limitless range when it comes to singing. From a roaring high note to her come-hither moments, Scott can deliver whether it’s R&B, neo-soul or spoken word.

On Saturday, July 6, Scott, Evans, Boyz II Men and Lucky Daye will perform for the Houston edition of the Summer Block Party at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Fans can expect to take a melodic trip down memory lane, as Scott, Evans and Boyz II Men are sure to perform their hits from the past two decades.
