When you think of the Houston food scene, you’ll often think of the city’s popular barbeque and Tex-Mex spots. Luckily, Houston has a lot more to offer when it comes to food, and there’s a new experience to check out this summer. Yauatcha, a Michelin-starred Chinese dim sum restaurant, has opened its second restaurant in the States, and the first in Houston in the new standalone “jewel box” space at The Galleria.

Yauatcha

Operated by the international hospitality powerhouse the Hakkasan Group (Omnia Nightclub, Wet Republic), Yauatcha offers a blend of cultures with selections of dim sum and patisserie along with an array of tea, wine and cocktails perfect for a night on the town. A concept enriched by many walks of life, the menu provides a bit of the Cantonese, European and Asian styles of cooking.

Chef Ho Chee Boon

Get your dim sum just the way you like it – steamed, baked, grilled, or pan-fried. The world is your oyster as Yauatcha has mastered the many ways dim sum has evolved in Asian culture. Executive Chef Ho Chee Boon created the menu for the Houston location with many delicious items to choose from. Enjoy one-of-a-kind Chinese infused patisserie with a selection of macarons, gateaux and handmade chocolate. If that’s not enough, end the night with the perfect dessert wine specially crafted for the Yauatcha experience.

Make the best of summer and get a taste of what the world has to offer at Yauatcha’s Galleria Houston location.
