Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow
Star in 'White Men Can’t Jump'
A remake of the 1992 cult classic White Men Can’t Jump is available now on Hulu and features a star-studded cast. The film stars rapper Jack Harlow as Jeremy and Sinqua Walls as Kemal Allen, two streetball hustlers who team up to win a big tournament. The screenplay was written by black-ish creator Kenya Barris and features supporting roles from Vince Staples, Teyana Taylor, Lance Reddick, Andrew Schulz, and more. It also features a soundtrack put together by DJ Drama.
The film tells the story of two struggling basketball players who form an unlikely alliance to win a $500,000 cash prize in a basketball tournament. Despite originally brushing him off due to his appearance and sense of style, Kemal recruits Jeremy to help him win the competition by tricking the other players into thinking they have no game.
Harlow and Walls have big shoes to fill by attempting to recreate the undeniable chemistry between Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes, who starred in the original. Although Walls has on-screen experience, appearing in hit shows like Friday Night Lights and Power, this will be Harlow’s acting debut.
