The spring season is always a good time of the year because we get to say goodbye to winter and hello to the perks of spring.

In the spring, some of the best fruits are blossoming, there are more sunlit days due to daylight savings time, and baseball season gets underway with all eyes on the Astros.

And as the rainy days turn into sunshine, Seasons 52 is back at it again with another decadent menu – Hello Spring. From now until May 26, guests can enjoy a fixed-price menu that includes a soup or salad, entrée and dessert for $29.95.

The entrée dishes from the Hello Spring menu include:

• Wood-Grilled Sea Scallops – served with roasted asparagus and lemongrass wild rice pilaf
• Chicken Ravioli with Pesto Ricotta – served with roasted asparagus and lemon vinaigrette
• Wood–Grilled Bistro Steak – served with roasted asparagus, parsley potatoes and a red wine sauce
• Brick–Oven Roasted Cornish Hen – served with roasted garlic broccolini, parsley potatoes and a shallot-herb jus

I recently visited Seasons 52 CityCentre for the Hello Spring menu and I wanted to try everything. The one thing that I’ve learned from eating at Seasons 52 over the years is that you can never go wrong with their steaks. The Wood-Grilled Bistro melts in your mouth and draws a well-deserved A+.

Scallops

In addition to my steak, I ordered the Black Bean and Bacon Soup. Now, I’ve been a fan of black beans for a while. I’ve tasted some great black beans including the signature recipe that’s made by the famous Pappas family. So, I was looking forward to the Black Bean and Bacon Soup, and the dish lived up to the Seasons 52 reputation. It was rich and hearty with a homemade taste that made my multi-course dinner a hit.

Seasons 52 offers 52 wines by the glass, but the cocktail menu is quite impressive, too. The Strawberry Basil Infusion is made with strawberry-infused Prairie Organic Vodka and basil, offering a sweet taste with a nice kick. Then there’s the Rose Lemonade for the Ketel One lovers. The drink consists of Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka, Royal Post Rosé and lemon.
