Savor the Sophistication:
Artisans Opens in New Location
Houston’s restaurant scene is constantly evolving, from new restaurant openings to local chefs raising the bar with innovative menu items. Success also breeds the need for expansion, prompting restaurants to move to bigger and better locations, such as the beloved French dining destination, Artisans Restaurant.
Artisans’ original Midtown location has captivated diners for over a decade with its inviting ambiance and award-worthy French cuisine. Now, the restaurant is embarking on a new chapter in its culinary journey by upgrading to a larger, more spacious location at 5745 Westheimer near the Galleria.
After five years of meticulous planning and anticipation, Artisans has unveiled its new home in the space previously held by James Coney Island. The new Artisans was built from the ground up, and the restaurant’s new 9,000 sq. ft. space is a testament to Executive Chef and Owner Jacques Fox and his team’s vision to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Last month, the restaurant hosted its grand opening celebration on April 3, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an opportunity for guests to enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine while taking a peek at Artisans’ opulent new domain.
From the moment guests step through the doors, they are greeted with a sophisticated and stylish décor. The new restaurant was designed with a larger bar and an outdoor terrace for mingling and enjoying the Houston weather. The main dining room area offers ample seating for lunch, date night, or dinner with co-workers.
The restaurant also has a chef’s table with an open kitchen concept, offering guests a chance to watch Executive Chef Erik Cruz and his kitchen staff craft each dish to perfection.
Artisans prides itself on delivering authentic French dishes made with the finest ingredients. And hospitality is paramount. Your dining experience begins with valet service for every guest and continues with an attentive and knowledgeable staff that aims to create a memorable dining experience.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week for Sunday Brunch, and it features live music on Friday nights. A cherished fixture in Houston’s vibrant culinary landscape, Artisans has become a destination for discerning diners seeking an authentic taste of France in the heart of Houston.
