The JMG Live! Music Lounge podcast launched right after Super Bowl LI took over Houston in March 2017, with much anticipation. The JMG Live! Music Lounge is a music-based podcast that features interviews with music artists, celebrities and high profile figures, with music news, giveaways and more. The show is hosted by JMG’s publisher and music editor Jacquari Harris, who’s also a seasoned journalist and writer.

For seven years prior to the launch of the podcast, the public figures, celebrities, athletes and music stars who Jacquari interviewed for JMG were featured only in the print and digital editions of JMG Magazine. But with the launch of the podcast, listeners can now hear their favorite music artists and guests laugh, sing and dish it all to Jacquari.

The JMG Live! Music Lounge has listeners in over 30 countries, and the podcast features exclusive interviews with music artists from a variety of genres including EDM, dance music, hip-hop, R&B and pop music. Some of the artists that have been featured on the podcast include: Nervo, Dimitri Vegas, CeCe Peniston, Dada Life, Dan Amboyer, Dyro, Felix Da Housecat, Bimbo Jones, Xenia Ghali, Austin Mahone, Joe Gauthreaux, Rican McGusty, Shawn Wayans, Jacquees, Mary Lambert, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Jon Moody, James Kennedy, Jussie Smollett, NE-YO and Afrojack.

JMG has collaborated with Avant Media Institute to produce over 20 great episodes of the JMG Live! Music Lounge podcast since its inception. The podcast was on hiatus after Hurricane Harvey impacted the Houston area, but re-emerged in 2018 with several must-hear episodes.

And now the podcast is being recognized with an award nomination.

The JMG Live! Music Lounge is nominated in both the “Music” and “People’s Choice” categories for the 2018 Podcast Awards.
