If you are looking for a different film experience that your family and friends can enjoy together, the Houston Museum of Natural Science has got the perfect inspirational film for you. The MacGillivray Freeman’s new 3D film, DREAM BIG: Engineering Our World, showcases the creative ingenuity that is all about being and doing the work of an engineer today.

The first of its kind to promote STEM career fields, this giant screen movie provides a dynamic look at the lives of those who are dedicated to keeping us safe and designing our future. From planes to tall buildings, bridges, and rollercoasters, the work of an engineer is limitless. This movie provides an opportunity to share with young minds the many possibilities there are in the world of engineering.

Produced in partnership with the American Society of Civil Engineers and presented by the Bechtel Corporation, this film also features educational material meant to introduce middle and high school age girls to the women involved in the field of engineering and hopefully spark their interest in an engineering career.

In celebration of National Engineers Week, the film premiered on Feb. 17 and will be shown at the Houston Museum of Natural Science through May of this year.
