The Canadian-born Moxie’s Grill & Bar recently opened its second location in Texas at 5000 Westheimer, across from The Galleria. With its first Texas location in Dallas, Houstonians can now enjoy lunch, dinner and a little late-night fun at Moxie’s.

The restaurant offers classic comfort food and unique spirits with a twist. Their menu includes items such as the Korean Fried Cauliflower, which is made with a spicy gochujang pepper sauce and served with a jalapeno lime dip. Then there’s the Crispy Dry Rib Tips, a Moxie’s signature dish. It’s made with pork rib tips, sea salt and cracked pepper.

Their cocktail menu will definitely make you look twice. You can find specialized drinks such as the Pomegranate Beet Soda, made with cucumber, cranberry juice and sparkling water. You’ll also find Canada’s best-selling cocktail – The Signature Caesar. It’s made with Tito’s vodka, clamato, and a house-made pickled veggie skewer.

Moxie’s is open Monday through Friday for happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. And if you’re in the area and in need of a late night respite, the restaurant offers $8 Mules Monday through Friday after 9 p.m.
