Walt Disney Animation Studios has teamed up with Lighthouse Immersive, North America’s top producer of digital immersive art, to create a new entertainment experience called Immersive Disney Animation. Following a critically acclaimed world premiere in December 2022, the exhibit is coming to Houston this summer.

Immersive Disney Animation features music and artistry from Disney’s classic catalog of films, brought to life using groundbreaking, modern technology. The exhibit borrows from classic Disney films such as The Lion King and Peter Pan, as well as contemporary favorites like Frozen and Encanto, to make guests feel as though they’ve entered the universe of their favorite Disney characters.

The exhibit has already premiered in 11 cities so far and received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Lighthouse Immersive has also been responsible for other acclaimed exhibits that use cutting-edge technology to recreate the works of famous painters like Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Monet. Now the company is teaming up with Disney to reimagine some of entertainment’s most iconic animated characters through a brand-new medium.

The exhibit premieres in Houston on July 1 in the Heights at White Oak Station on 600 W. 6th Street. Tickets are on sale now and start at $29.99.
