Houston Symphony Brings ‘Star Trek’ to Life

For all you Star Trek fans in Houston, the beloved series is coming to Jones Hall for a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience celebrating an amazing 50 years in television and film.

On May 5, fans will get to experience “Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage,” a unique live concert that will feature the five decades of Star Trek music, all performed by the Symphony Orchestra. The concert will showcase the musical genius of the series, with film and television footage simultaneously shown on a 40-foot wide screen. The set list of 31 songs will feature pieces composed specifically for Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Voyage Home and many more of its top performing productions.

This event is perfect for all ages, but those who are die-hard fans or those newly hip to the galaxy traveling stories are sure to enjoy this production.
