AUDRAFashion will never go out of style. The first reason is that it’s considered public indecency to walk around unclothed in America. The second reason is because fashion is more than just throwing on clothes and shoes every day. Fashion has become an inspiring work of art that everyone desires a piece of; whether they admit it or not. Designer Audra Danielle Noyes, founder of the brand AUDRA and personally recommended by Andre Leon Talley, translates her life experiences into fashion for her Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Pieces of her collection will be available at a trunk show at Sloan-Hall in Houston the week of May 21.

Audra attributes the inspiration behind her collections to her years of living in Europe and working for a Parisian couture house in France. If you’re familiar with luxury French fashion and enjoy collections from fashion houses like Celine and Chloe, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by AUDRA. What’s most strikingly unique about the Spring/Summer 2018 collection is not only the French inspired aesthetics of the clothing, but the simplistic American style within it as well. The latter would make a lot of sense because Audra Noyes herself is from Philadelphia; a city rich with culture and love.
