A central bar with a sunroom and a garden patio that both you and your dog can enjoy are all bundled up in the cozy heirloom oak setting known as Emmaline. Located in the Montrose area, Emmaline is a new neighborhood restaurant at 3210 West Dallas that friends and families can now visit seven days a week.

Restaurateur Sam Governale, formerly of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in River Oaks, opens the restaurant with Executive Chef Dimitri Voutsinas. Emmaline is an American restaurant with a nod to European influences that pulls from Voutsinas’ background from his education at the French Culinary Institute and his time as Executive Chef at La Gamelle Restaurant and Motorino Restaurant Group in New York City.

Voutsinas makes use of his wood-burning grill to create some menu items that include the Wood-Roasted Pork Chop and Wood-Fired Cioppino Bianco. For dessert, you have Pastry Chef Alyssa Dole, formerly of Coltivare, who will be testing your resolve with desserts like Buttermilk Panna Cotta and Dark Chocolate Espresso Torta.
