Taking a break from the daily hustle and bustle can be much needed. From work to school to dating, keeping a sustainable work-life balance is important. Houston has a plethora of places that can elevate your mood from blah, to feeling pretty good. And there’s a new venue with a few thrills in Midtown that’s worth a visit.

Electric FeelGood

Electric FeelGood is now open at 2416 Brazos. The two-story venue has a vintage 80s and 90s theme with unique décor, and Instagrammable moments at every turn. Electric FeelGood is owned by Carmack Concepts, who also owns The Dogwood right next door. The company has coined Electric FeelGood as “Houston’s Retro Space Saloon,” making it more than just your average local bar.

Electric FeelGood

Electric FeelGood was branded by the Austin-based ad agency Tilted Chair, and it was designed by Stacy Whitworth Designs. The 11,000 sq. ft. oasis has a covered patio on the rooftop, bold stucco walls, an indoor slide, LED’s throughout the space, and a day-to-night food menu.

Guests can find a variety of “electric” drinks specials and events throughout the week, including a weekday happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., half-priced bottles of wine on Wednesdays, $5 draft Thursdays, along with “Saved By The Brunch” Sundays.

The neon-friendly venue is open seven days a week until 2 a.m., with the kitchen closing at 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.electricfeelgood.com.
