Pop sensation Dua Lipa is off to a good 2019 with two Grammy nominations and the release of her latest single, “Swan Song.” Lipa’s latest song is from the soundtrack of the new 20th Century FOX film, ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL.

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL is an action-adventure movie that was brought to life by innovative filmmakers James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez. With the central theme of hope and empowerment, the film stars Rosa Salazar as Alita, a woman who awakens in the future with no memories of who she is. However, Alita has a unique fighting ability that those around her are trying to control.

The visuals for the “Swan Song” music video follow the same theme as the film, with a Mad Max-Transformers vibe with Lipa looking strong and beautiful. The music video was directed by Floria Sigismondi, and the midtempo song has Lipa singing some of her most self-empowering lyrics to date.

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL opens in theaters on Feb. 14, 2019 in 3D and IMAX.
