A major facelift has just been completed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites in the Galleria area, offering more suite selections than any other hotel in Houston.  The hotel has operated as a 380-key all-suite hotel since its birth in 1982, but now features 238 guest rooms and 238 suites, which boast modern and beautifully designed interiors.

Clean lines and aesthetics were a major focus of this project, with accommodations designed around the modern lifestyle to offer amenities such as contemporary designs, individual climate controls, Wi-Fi access, a 24-hour gym, laundry facilities, and tech lounges.

Hotel Bar

The new lobby design gives the hotel its most promising impression. The lobby is now three times the size it was before the renovation, and it is complimented by cool hues of gray and blue in conjunction with the use of wood textures. Commissioned art pieces also accentuate the hotel’s new urban ambiance.  The lobby is also where you’ll find the hotel’s stylish full-service bar, which is available throughout the day to serve top quality cocktails in addition to a tapas and bar menu for lunch for guests needing a bite while relaxing or mingling with co-workers.

In addition to the bar, the hotel offers a full restaurant for breakfast, a grab-and-go concept for breakfast and lunch, and of course room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites is known as the “Small Meeting Specialists.” With 9,500 square feet of meeting space, the hotel focuses on local and traveling meeting requests, weddings, and functions that are tailored for smaller event spaces.

And with the guest rooms, the hotel offers two queen size beds for the double rooms and king beds for the suites. With 55-inch flat panel TVs, balconies for most rooms and what they are calling the largest outdoor pool in the Galleria, The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites offers comfort and style for its international guests.
