Deadmau5 and Kaskade Team Up to
Drop Their Debut Album as Kx5
Legendary DJs deadmau5 and Kaskade recently joined forces to form the group Kx5 and have now released one of the most highly anticipated projects in electronic music.
The duo shocked the EDM community when they announced their new group last year with the release of the single “Escape.” Since then, they’ve released a handful of singles and remixes in the lead-up to their release of a full-length project. One of those tracks, “Alive” (featuring the Moth & the Flame), made it onto EDM.com’s Best Tracks of 2022.
The duo originally teamed up for the track “I Remember” back in 2008. Now, 15 years later, they formed an official group and released their debut album on March 17. To promote the new album, Kx5 will perform at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which takes place March 24 – 26.
The group previously broke the record for the largest single-day concert by an EDM artist in North America after 50,000 fans showed up to their show at the LA Memorial Coliseum last December.
Their debut project is one of the most hyped albums in the world of EDM, and any fans of the genre won’t want to miss it.
