From Amsterdam to Las Vegas, Liv and Mim, also known as Nervo, have taken the dance music world by storm with their electric DJ sets, NERVO Nation radio show on SiriusXM and international sound. And now is your chance to see the Grammy Award-winning Australian sisters live in Houston for a special Thursday night party.

Pop-up Thursdays is a new monthly event at Aura Nightclub that kicks off with Nervo on June 29. The DJ/producing/songwriting duo has had a busy 2017 thus far, releasing their single “In Your Arms,” making music videos, touring and navigating their way through the current festival season.

Nervo also recently collaborated with Quintino on a track called “Lost in You.” It’s a trap-infused cut that pulls you in with its melodic moments, making the song easy to groove to; not to mention that Mim returns to the mic to sing on the track.

When I interviewed the girls in March of this year for the JMG Live! Music Lounge podcast, Mim expressed her feelings about singing on their songs versus having another vocalist on their tracks.

“We always like to have other vocals on our records, one because they bring a different vibe, and a different feel,” said Mim. “We don’t really love being the vocalists because there’s more expectations of you having to sing to the camera and all that stuff which really scares us. But we’ve tried to embrace it and thank God we’ve had a good reception.”
