The best way to celebrate a night out is with a well made drink. As many may know, a drink is only as good as its bartender. The best on Houston’s bartending scene will have an opportunity to show what their drink skills are made of at a one-of-a-kind bartending competition seeking the most creative drinks ever made.

The 2017 USBG Most Imaginative Bartender Competition presented by Bombay Sapphire is now accepting contestant submissions from Houston’s best for their rendition of the most imaginative cocktail. Those chosen will compete against the best that Austin, Dallas and New Orleans has to offer for the North American finals. Twelve finalists will be chosen to travel to London to contend for the 2017 North American title.

If you think you can create the winning drink, enter your submission by April 13 at mostimaginativebartender.com. Regional semi-finalists will be announced on May 15. Then 120 of the best bartenders will compete to represent their hometown beginning this May through June. Contestants will then be dwindled down to be one of the 12 from around the world to compete at the home of Bombay Sapphire’s new distillery, Laverstoke Mill, in England August 21 through 24.
