Bryson Tiller’s name is climbing up the A- list just as his music continues to climb the charts. Between his sold-out shows in New York City and 36 million plays for his popular record “Don’t,” there is no denying that Tiller is well on his way to becoming a household name in mainstream music. The 23-year-old Louisville, Ky., native’s breakout single, originally heard on Sound Cloud, resulted in the singer-songwriter receiving notable attention from top industry artists such as Timbaland and Drake. Tiller released his first album, T.R.A.P.S.O.U.L., on Oct. 2, 2015, which reached No. 8 on the US Top 200 Billboard Chart as well as No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

While most notably regarded as a vocalist, Tiller occasionally raps as well. He credits his inspiration for his musical style to a combination of “trap” style rap music and hip-hop influenced R&B. Most would probably compare the sounds of his music to that of PartyNextDoor, Drake and The Dream. He definitely does a great job of delivering that smooth R&B sound while occasionally tapping into the raw side of hip-hop. Tiller has continued to release nonstop No. 1 hits such as “Exchange” and “Just Another Interlude.” In fact, his music has been so impressive that hip-hop icon Drake wanted to sign Tiller, but he declined and went with the RCA label instead.

Tiller is currently on his 34-city tour throughout the United States, with a potential finale on March 12 in his home town of Louisville. Proving just how much of an international artist he’s becoming, Tiller also plans to tour in Europe for the month of April.
