In anticipation of the Super Bowl’s return to Houston, a slew of exciting activities leading up to the big game are slated to come in the next few months. One of the biggest events, Super Bowl Live, is a 10-day festival leading up to Super Bowl LI. As a free event held from Jan. 27 to Feb. 5, 2017, the festivities will include food, music, games and attractions at Discovery Green Park. And you can be a part of it!

The Houston Super Bowl Host Committee is inviting Houston-area performers to be part of the entertainment for Super Bowl Live, with auditions for pop-up performances being held later this month. If you think you’ve got the chops, this is for you. There will be 75 to 100 performers needed to fill the 10-day event, which celebrates the Super Bowl host city. Acts of all kinds are welcome to audition, from bands to musicians, dancers, comedic actors and specialty acts.

Auditions will take place Oct. 22-24 at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in the Learning Center in Medical Plaza 2. Each act will be given 3 to 5 minutes to audition in person. If you cannot make it in person, video auditions can be sent to auditions@housuperbowl.com.
