The world renowned Parsons Dance Company, founded by David Parsons, has captivated audiences across the globe for more than 30 years, with performances in the Spoleto Festivals and many television appearances. And now, the company is making its way to Houston for a captivating performance this fall.

The 10 dancers that make up the company tour the world for a little over 30 weeks a year to perform, and they have worked with many established and up-and-coming choreographers to rework and create new pieces. Parsons Dance has also been featured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park Summerstage, and the Joyce Theater, to name a few. You can also take part in the Parsons experience when visiting New York. They offer three-week summer intensive programs and workshops with the dancers, allowing the company to achieve its mission of delivering positive, affirming and life-enriching experiences to audiences.

You can expect to see a fascinating spectacle through dance and movement when Parsons Dance comes to town. Their stylized pieces are appealing to audiences of all age groups and are sure to wow any dance lover. Parsons Dance will perform at the Wortham Theater Center on Sept. 23.
