Summer is coming and so are the hot movies to check out this season. Dwayne Johnson and friends are bringing back an old time favorite with a new twist. Baywatch Beach, based on the show of the same name, has got some new lifeguards in town ready to save the day. Mitch Buchannon, played by Johnson, is the leader of the pack, overseeing all of the beach’s lifeguards. He is tasked with restoring the beach’s image by bringing on new talent he’s not too fond of. Zac Efron plays Matt Brody, Mitch’s arch-enemy whose professional sports career has fizzled out and takes on the gig of increasing publicity for the team of lifeguards. On their quest to rebuild the Baywatch team, they realize there is more trouble lurking in the water than they expected.

Get ready for a group of toned and tan bodies as they prance around just as you remember from the hot ’90s show. This action comedy is full of good, cheesy fun as the new crew navigates the mystery of a criminal doing business on the beach. An unexpected death leads them on a path to discover who is tarnishing their image. Mitch and Matt butt heads throughout as they separate the real from the fake of who are up for the job of saving lives.

Johnson and Efron are joined by Priyanka Chopra and Alexandra Daddario as Victoria Leeds and Summer Quinn. Catch all of the slow-motion running scenes you can handle in theatres on May 25.
