Madea is a Special Treat for Theaters this Halloween
Halloween just got a whole lot funnier with Tyler Perry this fall. There will be no terror to experience or nightmares to be had with this funny flip on an enticingly scary holiday. The multitalented writer, actor and director is bringing Madea to the big screen for a slew of new jokes to laugh at.
This time, Madea finds herself in a peculiar situation after she is asked to do a favor for a family member. As superstitious as Madea is about Halloween, she obliges a relative to watch his daughter after an unexpected trip came up, and he wants to be sure his daughter doesn’t get into any trouble while he is away. After Madea and friends arrive, eerie things begin to happen. Her relative’s daughter and her friends tell the story of a woman who once lived in the home and her unfortunate fate one scary Halloween night. Madea and crew then find themselves in mayhem as they fight off zombies, ghosts and poltergeists.
Perry will return after three years as the acting trio of Mabel Madea Simmons, Brian Simmons and Uncle Joe Simmons. The film will be released on Oct. 21 just in time to close out the spooky holiday.
