When Justin Timberlake isn’t releasing new music or selling out arenas, the “SexyBack” singer knows how to take a break. We last heard from him in 2016 when he released “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the Trolls movie soundtrack. It was a danceable feel-good track that had Timberlake fans wanting more, suspecting that there was more music on the way. Well, at last, we got some news.

Timberlake released a video on his Twitter feed recently, announcing that he’s coming out of hiatus and will be releasing his fourth solo album, Man of the Woods on Feb. 2. It’s been four years since the release of his last album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, and Timberlake describes in the video that his new album is his most personal yet.

I figured that Timberlake had some new music in the works ever since it was announced that he’ll be headlining the Super Bowl LII halftime show at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium on Feb. 4. Artists usually have something to promote when they’re headlining the Super Bowl, and my assumptions were proved right by JT in his tweet.

But the big question is, “Will Janet be joining him?” Many see his 2018 Super Bowl appearance as redemption of sorts from his performance with Janet Jackson during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. If Justin is allowed to perform, shouldn’t Janet? Would Justin include her as a surprise during his performance? Janet took a lot of heat for her wardrobe malfunction, while Timberlake almost walked away unscathed. I guess we’ll have to see what happens next month.
