Nearly every pop musician (and country, hip-hop, and R&B star) released some of the best music of their careers in 2016, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Drake and Adele. And in case you’ve lost track of who has topped the charts in the last 12 months, the Grammy’s are our chance to recap the previous year’s spectaculars, as music’s glitterati take to the red carpet.

Unsurprisingly, Beyoncé leads the charge of nominees, with an astounding nine nominations for Lemonade, including Best Album and Song Of The Year, with “Formation.”

Rihanna, Drake, and Kanye West are close behind, with eight nominations. West is noticeably absent from the Record Of The Year category, however, as no one can decide if The Life Of Pablo is an album or not, or if it actually exists.

Chance The Rapper cleaned up as well, nominated seven times for last year’s soulful, psychedelic, personal hip-hop opus Coloring Book.

“Where’s Adele?” you might be asking, considering the universality of last year’s 25, and its ubiquitous single “Hello.” Don’t worry, the British singer/songwriter is up for a healthy five awards, including Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal album.

The Album Of The Year nominees are Beyoncé, Drake, Rihanna, Adele, and Sturgill Simpson.

Tune in to see who will win when the 59th Annual Grammy Awards air live on CBS Sunday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. Central, hosted by James Corden.
