Coldplay’s seventh studio album A Head Full of Dreams (which has also been rumored to be their last) benchmarks a decided pivot from the quartet’s trademark melodic melancholy. Per lead singer, Chris Martin, the band wanted to make something colorful, uplifting, and “something to shuffle your feet to.” Garnering collaborations from Beyoncé and Tove Lo is an ideal way to accomplish that goal, and the lead single “Adventure of a Lifetime,” does not disappoint in that regard.

A Head Full of Dreams just debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts with a tour scheduled for March 2016. If this really is Coldplay’s last album together, there’s no doubt that they’re going out triumphantly.
